Your Key Responsibilities:

SIEM & Detection Engineering (Microsoft Sentinel):
- Design and implement Microsoft Sentinel architectures for diverse environments.
- Integrate Sentinel with various security tools and telemetry sources.
- Develop analytics rules and detection logic.

Platform Operations & BAU Ownership:
- Manage day-to-day administration and monitoring of Sentinel.
- Troubleshoot ingestion and incident-related issues.
- Maintain operational documentation and dashboards.

Threat Detection, Response & Investigation:
- Conduct incident triage and proactive threat hunting.
- Operate and optimize security tools for incident management and investigation.
- Perform comprehensive threat analyses and mentor junior engineers.
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- 7-8 years of overall cybersecurity experience in areas such as SOC, SIEM, EDR/XDR/NDR, cloud security, incident response, or threat hunting.
- Proficient in architecture, design, implementation, and operations of Microsoft Sentinel.
- Advanced Kusto Query Language (KQL) experience.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Defender suite and other security platforms.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Linux administration and security monitoring.
- Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, and private/hybrid cloud environments.
- Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or similar.
