Key Accountabilities
- Manage complex engineering projects focused on the development and integration of loitering munitions, missiles, and UAVs, ensuring technical objectives are met with precision and innovation.
- Conduct feasibility analysis for project requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and market needs.
- Support the Program Manager in formulating and standardizing project management and engineering development processes, methodologies, guidelines, and documentation templates to boost operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, and allocate resources effectively across projects.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Act as the primary liaison between the technical development team, including aerodynamics, mechanical, electronics, control systems, and software development, to deliver integrated system solutions.
- Provide technical guidance to project teams to ensure the design and development of integrated systems and technical requirements.
- Coordinate technical aspects of field/flight tests.
- Create detailed status reports on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
- Compile internal and external documentation regarding product development.
- Lead and mentor project team members, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous learning.
- Support business development tasks by estimating project budgets, schedules, and resource predictions.
Knowledge/Qualification & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the aerospace and defense industry, including technical project management/system engineering with experience in iterative agile or hybrid development cycles.
- Specific experience in loitering munitions, missile, UAV, and advanced drone systems.
- Deep understanding of the technical aspects of aerial defense systems, including design, development, integration, and testing.
- Bachelor's/Master's in Engineering or other technical fields.
- Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) or System Engineering (e.g., INCOSE CSEP) is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Knowledge of key project management metrics with the ability to track progress and ensure on-time project delivery.
- Demonstrated leadership ability to guide and motivate teams, make strategic decisions, and resolve complex problems.
