Specialist - Quality Assurance

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Quality Assurance professional to ensure product conformity and compliance with applicable quality standards across manufacturing operations. The role will oversee QMS implementation, audits, non-conformance management, and continuous improvement, working closely with cross-functional teams to maintain high-quality standards and meet customer and regulatory requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement and maintain quality assurance processes across manufacturing and support functions
• Monitor compliance of operations with the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Ensure effective implementation and continual compliance with applicable QMS standards
• Translate contractual, regulatory and customer quality requirements into operational controls
• Plan, conduct and support internal, customer and certification audits
• Manage NCRs, concessions, deviations and quality-related dispositions
• Lead or support root-cause investigations and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions
• Support supplier qualification, evaluation, audits and ongoing supplier performance monitoring
• Develop, review and maintain quality plans, procedures, work instructions and control processes
• Coordinate FAI, process validation and production approval activities with relevant stakeholders
• Establish and monitor KPIs such as NCR rate, first-pass yield, customer complaints and CAPA closure
• Ensure quality records, procedures and controlled documents remain accurate, current and traceable
• Identify process risks and implement appropriate preventive controls and mitigation actions
• Work closely with engineering, production, procurement, supply chain and customers on quality matters
• Drive continual improvement initiatives and strengthen process effectiveness, product conformity and customer satisfaction

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s/Diploma in Quality, Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing or related engineering discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in QA within aerospace, defense or industrial manufacturing
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and preferably AS9100 requirements
• Knowledge of defense/aerospace customers and regulatory requirements
• Experience with internal, external and process audits & knowledge of non-conformance management systems
• Strong understanding of Root Cause Analysis and CAPA & Experience in supplier quality management
• Knowledge of Quality Plans, Control Plans and process documentation & understanding of FAI and production approval requirements
