Specialist Tester

A leading bank in the UAE is seeking a Specialist Tester for the Issuer Service and IPO system upgrade User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The Specialist Tester will report to the Lead with a dotted line to the Testing Discipline and will be a dedicated part of the Core Delivery Team.

Location: Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates
Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Complete both System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Ensure that the developed solution conforms to requirements and meets the definition of done.
• Adhere to Automation transformation KPIs governed by the Testing Center of Excellence (CoE).
• Maintain accurate data in test management tools.
• Conduct assessments of the developed features and functionalities.
• Ensure 100% compliance with the testing framework.
• Maintain time delivery for all testing deliverables.
• Identify gaps in automation capability and drive improvements with the Testing CoE.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong technical background with a key focus on automation.
• 2-5 years of experience in Digital Transformation and Agile methodologies.
• 3-5+ years of experience in both Functional Testing (manual and automation).
• Banking and Financial Services domain knowledge, specifically in Investment Banking.
• Expertise in Selenium WebDriver and Core Java.
• Understanding of testNG, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of version control systems such as SVN/GIT/Bitbucket.
• Experience maintaining automation frameworks as required.
• Ability to learn new testing tools quickly.
• Strong communication skills and ability to read Arabic.
• Good self-management skills.
• Exposure to HP ALM and Jira tools.
