Program Overview
The Tomoh Apprenticeship is a paid six-month training program designed to accelerate Emiratis' employability and create market impact through early-in-profession recruitment and skill-building programs. This program includes globally recognized technical and professional certifications along with hands-on experience through mentorship, coaching, job shadowing, and real-life assignments.
Program Details
The six-month program is structured into two key phases:
- Phase 1: Onboarding & Skilling Bootcamp (1 month)
- Introduction to company’s mission, culture, strategy, and structure.
- Technical skilling to obtain globally recognized company technical certifications.
- Professional and soft skills development, including project management, change management, effective interpersonal skills, creativity and innovation, and time management.
- Phase 2: On-the-Job Training (5 months)
- Serving as a Solution Area Specialist for job shadowing and training.
- Engagement in mentorship and coaching sessions.
- Supporting company teams on digital transformation projects.
- Advanced technology training in areas like AI, Machine Learning, and Cloud Computing.
Responsibilities
- Position company solutions through market research, industry insights, and collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Acquire knowledge of company cloud technologies and their role in customer digital transformation journeys.
- Identify customer and market needs while working alongside internal teams to develop appropriate solutions.
- Assist in pipeline development and territory planning activities.
- Contribute to customer engagements and opportunities for relationship-building.
- Enhance technical and commercial knowledge through mentorship, training, and hands-on experience.
- Collaborate across company teams and partner ecosystems to support customer success and drive business outcomes.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Emirati National holding UAE Family Book.
- Fluency in English.
- Legal authorization to work in the UAE (citizenship, valid visa, or work permit).
- Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Business Administration/Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Passion for technology with a customer-obsessed mindset.
- Ability to manage relationships with stakeholders, senior leaders, partners, and customers effectively.
- Strong communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Technical Certification in Cloud technologies (e.g., Azure).
