Job Duties

  • Perform inspection and repair of components I.A.W. Technical Data.
  • Complete all regulatory training.
  • Communicate effectively with other maintenance personnel at all levels by keeping co-workers and leadership apprised of work progress and difficulties as they arise.
  • Complete job assignments in a timely manner.
  • Read and interpret manufacturer and airline maintenance manuals, service bulletins, drawings, and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repair, replacement, or modification.
  • Duties include the preparation and application of various materials including primers, protective chemicals, and topcoat finishes.
  • Document and stamp work as required.
  • Participate in shop and facility Continuous Improvement activities and initiatives.
  • Perform area cleaning and maintenance as required.
  • Adhere to shop rules, safety requirements, and regulations.
  • Demonstrate awareness and understanding of company policies and management systems, including the importance of conforming to all policies and procedures.
  • Acquire necessary EHS competencies in accordance with EHS policy.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or Technical Diploma; Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Diploma / Degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies like Lean.
  • Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in performing related painting activities in Aerospace or Automotive industry, preferably in an MRO shop.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Fluent in English with effective communication skills, both verbally and in written form.
  • Ability to work flexible shift hours and willingness to assist other departments as necessary.
