Key Responsibilities:
- Performance Optimization and Tuning Capabilities:
- Partitioning data implementations
- Metadata management and repository usage
- Database Schema Creation and Management:
- HADR, backup and recovery, ensuring data integrity, high availability, and disaster recovery
- SQL Code Reviews:
- Analyze query plans and T-SQL code, focusing on the Sargability of statements
- Data Management:
- Data modeling and database design, indexing strategy, procedural skills
- Data security, data encryption, auditing, and replication of data
- Technical Expertise:
- SQL edition and version differences with discontinued features, upgrade processes, storage management techniques
- Data engine capacity planning, general database management, and policy-based management
- Basic licensing and support scenarios

- Windows Failover Clustering

Minimum Requirements:
- Act as a key technical resource for the customer, focusing on delivering proactive services such as education workshops and expert guidance
- Join a team of industry experts and preview new technology
- Visit customers for training and to share expertise
- Build strong customer relationships and ensure project alignments
- Maintain accreditations and certifications, assisting in the development of best practices
- Strong communication skills, with an ability to develop strategic customer relationships and demonstrate trust
Language Requirements:
Strong technical writing and presentation skills necessary; ability to communicate effectively with customers.
