Position

As a Senior Engineer for Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and other database technologies, you will be responsible for various database functions including backup and restore operations, performance tuning, and compliance with industry standards. Your duties will involve managing SQL and Oracle database lifecycles, ensuring high availability, monitoring performance, and collaborating with vendors for a stable environment. You will also implement automation for routine tasks and participate in meetings to improve database management processes.

Work Conditions: Full-time
Location: Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Mandatory Skills:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Typically, 6+ years of relevant work experience with a minimum of 2+ years in a similar role.
Advanced skills in Oracle 19c+, RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, OEM, SQL 2014, SQL2017, SQL2019, SSIS, SSRS.
Expertise in SQL optimization, schema tuning, and database troubleshooting.
Experience with large database environments and hybrid cloud database setups.
Knowledge of automation, reporting, and automatic performance tuning.
Strong knowledge of industry-standard database management practices and methodologies.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Oracle Certified Professional (OCP).
Professional certification in database administration.
Powershell, Windows & Unix administration, ITIL.
