Sr Analyst II Software Engineering

As a Sr Analyst II Software Engineering at DXC Technology, you will collaborate with the software development team to design, code, and test software solutions, focusing on developing and maintaining critical components. Your responsibilities will include working closely with senior team members to meet project requirements and deadlines, participating in design and code reviews, and contributing to troubleshooting and problem-solving in software development. You will also assist in the development and documentation of software requirements and specifications, debug and resolve complex production issues, and stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices.

Additionally, you will help mentor and guide junior team members, take ownership of challenging technical tasks, and collaborate on architectural decisions.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science) or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Typically, 4+ years of relevant work experience in the industry, with a minimum of 1+ years in a similar role
• Proficiency in 1 or more software languages and development methodologies
• Familiarity with software development practices and methodologies
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to challenging technical tasks

Other Qualifications:

• An advanced degree in a related field is a plus
• Relevant certifications or training are a plus
