Position

The Sr. Analyst/Transport Network Procurement is responsible for implementing strategic sourcing for specific Global Procurement Categories, focusing on delivering value through collaboration with Budget Holders, Group/OpCos' Procurement, and relevant stakeholders at e& UAE & OpCos. This position plays a critical role in promoting sustainable sourcing practices to enhance the performance and quality of purchased products and services from third parties while effectively reducing costs that impact the bottom line (EBIT). The job primarily involves Transport Network solutions.

Location: Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect historical spending data per category in partnership with OpCos procurement, Budget Holders, and Finance functions.
  • Develop a comprehensive Master Procurement Plan consolidating group-wide sourcing initiatives and identifying cost-saving targets.
  • Execute Strategic Sourcing Category Initiatives and manage the RFx process from preparation to execution, ensuring alignment with Budget Holders and Finance.
  • Establish long-term partnerships with strategic vendors, understanding their business rationale to promote vendor rationalization and create mutually beneficial cost-saving opportunities.
  • Draft and negotiate commercial terms and contractual clauses, ensuring compliance with e& standard templates.
  • Oversee Transactional Procurement in compliance with existing frameworks and agreements while promoting efficiency in purchase order issuance.
  • Ensure consistent delivery against contract commitments, monitoring vendor performance, and managing communications between parties.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field in Procurement/Supply Chain.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement operations within a large multinational telecommunications or technology organization.
