About the Role
As a Senior Attorney for the company Building Automation, you will serve as a legal advisor to the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa Building Automation business. You will provide legal support to the BA Products, Services, and Project business unit, collaborating with other business functions, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations while mitigating legal risks. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex legal matters and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the company's business objectives. You will report directly to the General Counsel, Building Automation for the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa region, working out of our Dubai, UAE location on a hybrid work schedule aligned with your direct manager.
In this role, your expertise will help navigate legal challenges, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster strong business partnerships internally and externally.

Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice and support on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters.
- Review, draft, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Collaborate with business units and cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate legal risks.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Support the management of external legal counsel and legal projects.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- 6+ years of experience practicing law with a strong background in corporate and commercial legal matters.
- Professional proficiency in written and spoken Arabic.
- Proven ability to review and negotiate complex contracts and agreements.
- In-depth knowledge of applicable laws and regulations relevant to the business.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing legal risks.
- Familiarity with managing external legal counsel.
WE VALUE
- LLB Law or Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice as an advocate or attorney or solicitor in at least one jurisdiction.
- Experience in a corporate legal department or law firm setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent negotiation skills and attention to detail.
