Role Summary:
As a Senior Analytical Engineer, you will play a key role in the data architect team, responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights. Your main responsibilities will include developing and maintaining data products that support analytics, reporting, and business decision-making. You will ensure data quality and governance throughout the data lifecycle, from ingestion to insights delivery, while collaborating effectively with diverse teams.
Key Responsibilities:

Data Product Development & Ownership
- Design, build, and maintain enterprise data warehouses and analytical data marts.
- Work closely with data scientists and product managers to translate complex business requirements into data solutions.
- Take ownership of data products from concept to production, ensuring scalability and reliability.

Data Quality & Governance
- Implement and enforce data quality and governance standards.
- Perform root cause analysis of data quality issues and implement solutions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with data engineers for smooth data ingestion and with backend engineers on data contracts.
- Act as a subject matter expert for analytical and business teams regarding data best practices.

Data Pipeline & Modeling Expertise
- Design and optimize data pipelines for data transformation and management.
- Utilize various modeling techniques to build efficient and flexible data solutions.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years in data management with a focus on analytical engineering.
- Technical Skills: Advanced SQL, experience with relational and non-relational databases, and proficiency in building and optimizing data pipelines.
- Data Modeling: Solid experience with various data modeling techniques.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with a growth mindset and a simplified approach to challenges.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Ownership: Commitment to accountability for data products and their impact.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, technology, or a related field.
