Sr Data & Governance Engineer (Offshore)

The company is currently looking for a Sr Data & Governance Engineer for our UAE operations with the following skillsets and terms and conditions.

Experience

• 6+ years

Requirements

• Expertise in Data Management, enterprise data modeling, governance, and data quality assessment practices. Understanding of DAMA – DMBOK subject areas and ability to work on those areas.
• DAMA certification.
• Expertise in building and managing scalable data pipelines on platforms like AWS and Databricks.
• Strong hands-on experience in ETL development, data integration, and real-time data streaming.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and other relevant programming languages.
• Experience with data engineering tools and frameworks like Databricks and Apache Spark.
• Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and data lake architecture. Experience in designing and implementing AWS cloud data and analytics architecture.
• Understanding of data governance frameworks and best practices.
• Ability to automate data preparation and integration tasks, and implement best practices for data governance and security.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing and continuous monitoring for data pipelines.

Good to Have

• Certification in cloud platforms such as AWS and Databricks.
• Experience with DevOps practices in data engineering, including CI/CD for data pipelines.
• Strong collaboration skills with data scientists, IT teams, and business stakeholders.
