In the role of Sr. Data Scientist (AI & ML) within the global AI hub, you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying machine learning and generative AI systems that drive key business and product decisions. You will work closely with product and business managers, managing the full ML lifecycle, from problem framing to monitoring in production.

Responsibilities:
- Translate ambiguous business problems into well-defined machine learning challenges with clear success criteria.
- Deliver impactful insights and data-driven recommendations through thorough analysis and automated reporting.
- Develop, implement, and monitor end-to-end machine learning and generative AI systems.
- Lead engineering tasks including the design of robust ML-based systems and coding in a scalable manner.
- Execute training, evaluation, and iteration of models, employing the most suitable algorithms to meet business needs.
- Utilize LLMs and generative AI for tasks like data enrichment and automated decision-making.
- Design and execute experiments to assess the impact of models and products.
- Collaborate with product and business teams to identify opportunities for ML solutions.
- Mentor junior data scientists and promote best engineering and ML practices.
Qualifications:
Technical Experience:
- Extensive expertise in machine learning, generative AI, deep learning, and data mining.
- Proficient with ML frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Strong software engineering skills, including coding, algorithm design, and ML system architecture.
- Proven track record of deploying and monitoring ML models in production.
- Strong data engineering capabilities, including SQL proficiency and familiarity with data pipelines.
- Solid foundation in statistical analysis and experimental design.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related fields; a postgraduate degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning engineering, or generative AI.
Candidates with a familiarity with product data and experience in online consumer settings are preferred. An ability to communicate effectively and a collaborative spirit are essential for this role.
