As a Sr. Data Scientist on the global AI hub, your mission will be to enhance decision-making across our products and business by leveraging relevant, reliable, and actionable data. You will be responsible for a specific domain, collaborating closely with product and business managers as part of a skilled team of data scientists and data engineers. You will manage the entire data value chain, contributing to initiatives that leverage Generative AI for data enrichment and automated decision-making.

Responsibilities:
- Transform ambiguous business problems into objective data-driven opportunities.
- Solve complex business problems using appropriate algorithms to deliver value.
- Design and implement impactful machine learning and Generative AI systems.
- Develop a deep understanding of product experiences and business processes.
- Maintain data models that drive performance measurement and comprehension.
- Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to support decisions.
- Plan and analyze experiments (A/B and multivariate tests).
- Support KPI design and goal setting.
- Mentor other data scientists and contribute to improving internal processes.
Qualifications:
- Technical Experience:
- Proficiency in machine learning, Generative AI, deep learning, and data mining.
- Knowledge of ML and GenAI frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Excellent SQL skills and competence in data analysis using Python or R.
- Familiarity with data modeling, product data analysis, and statistical techniques.
- Experience with LLMs and NLP-based solutions is a plus.
- Familiarity with BigQuery and Google Cloud Platform is advantageous.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- A postgraduate degree is beneficial but not required.
- Experience:
- 5+ years in data science, machine learning, and Generative AI.
- Background in online consumer product settings is an asset.

- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Sense of ownership, accountability, and a simplified approach to tasks.
