As a data scientist on the algorithms track, you will work to enhance the platform's intelligence, ultimately impacting millions of customers, restaurant partners, and riders. Your mission will focus on improving the quality of decisions across product and business using relevant, reliable, and actionable data. You will take ownership of a specific domain, collaborating with product and business managers as part of a talented team of data scientists and engineers. Responsibilities will include managing the entire data value chain, particularly in leveraging Generative AI for data enrichment and automated decision-making.

Responsibilities:
- Drive objective criteria using data to solve complex business problems.
- Design and implement impactful machine learning and generative AI systems.
- Develop a deep understanding of product experiences and business processes.
- Manage data source familiarity and contribute to data model design and maintenance.
- Collaborate with product and business teams to identify data-driven questions.
- Deliver actionable insights and recommendations for decision-making.
- Design, plan, and analyze experiments (A/B and multivariate tests).
- Support KPI design and goal setting.
- Mentor other data scientists and contribute to internal training programs.
Qualifications:

Technical Experience:
- Experience in machine learning, generative AI, deep learning, and data mining.
- Proficiency in ML frameworks like Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.
- Excellent SQL skills and competence in Python or R for reproducible data analysis.
- Strong command over the entire data lifecycle and familiarity with analysis types.
- Experience with NLP and LLMs for smart automation is a plus.

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related fields; a postgraduate degree is a plus.

- 4+ years in data science, machine learning, and generative AI.
- Experience in an online consumer product setting is advantageous.
