As a Sr. Data Scientist in our GenAI Squad, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the intelligence of our platform. Your mission will be to improve decision-making across product and business by leveraging data. You will collaborate closely with product and business managers, managing the entire data value chain including logging, data modeling, analysis, reporting, and experimentation. Your initiatives will focus on utilizing Generative AI for tasks such as data enrichment, smart content understanding, and automated decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transform ambiguous business problems into data-driven opportunities.
- Solve complex business challenges using appropriate algorithms.
- Design and implement impactful machine learning and generative AI systems.
- Develop an understanding of product experiences and business processes.
- Maintain and design data models to measure and monitor performance.
- Collaborate with product and business teams to identify key analytical questions.
- Deliver insights and actionable recommendations to support data-driven decisions.
- Plan and analyze experiments (A/B and multivariate tests).
- Support KPI design and goal setting for product and business managers.
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to internal training programs.
Qualifications:

Technical Experience:
- Proficiency in machine learning, generative AI, deep learning, recommendation systems, and data mining.
- Experience with ML and GenAI frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Strong SQL skills and competence in Python or R for data analysis.
- Familiar with data modeling and data lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of various analysis types (descriptive, exploratory, inferential, causal, predictive).
- Experience with large language models (LLMs) and NLP solutions is preferred.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery is a plus.
- Data engineering experience (e.g., via Airflow) is also beneficial.

Education:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, technology, or related fields; a postgraduate degree is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, and Generative AI, preferably in an online consumer product setting.
