Sr. Director/IT & Security Procurement

As the Sr. Director of IT & Security Procurement, you will lead teams of Procurement Category Managers across various procurement categories. Your main responsibilities include:

• Implementing effective procurement strategies and developing strategic relationships with key suppliers.
• Optimizing spending through standardization, benchmarks, and consolidating demands to support financial and growth plans.
• Analyzing historical spend data in collaboration with OpCos and finance functions, and contributing to the ‘Master Procurement Plan’.
• Creating global procurement strategies and establishing framework agreements, ensuring stakeholder engagement for effective implementation.
• Overseeing the Strategic Sourcing Category Execution and RFx processes from preparation to execution.
• Evaluating market conditions and trends to anticipate commercial opportunities and exceed internal customer expectations.
• Promoting cost reductions by building long-term partnerships with strategic vendors and ensuring agreements are well drafted and compliant with processes and policies.
• Identifying and evaluating best-in-class suppliers, engaging stakeholders for efficient communication and collaboration.

Location: Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates
Work Conditions: On-site, Full-time

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement & Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in procurement operations at a large multinational telecommunications or technology organization, with at least 6 years in a senior managerial position.
