Sr. Financial Assistant AP

About the Role
The position involves performing all activities necessary for processing invoices within the Accounts Payable Section. You will be responsible for posting all invoices and following up on pending invoices with end users. A key part of this role is ensuring effective vendor communication and reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts and manage journal entries.
• Handle invoice processing efficiently.
• Improve performance and generate reports as needed.
• Communicate with vendors regarding invoices and payments.
• Adhere to policies and procedures related to accounts payable.
• Support safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting or Finance, or High School Certificate with a specialized certificate in Accounting.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is a distinct advantage.

Minimum Experience

• 1 to 2 years of experience in Accounting.
• Experience within the Oil and Gas sector is an advantage.
• Proven experience in using SAP for accounting tasks.
