As part of a talented, cross-functional team of passionate Consultants and Project Managers, your role will involve delivering solutions that improve the quality, reliability, and accessibility of data and geospatial capabilities. The Professional Services division at Esri, which you will be part of, is dedicated to consulting and implementation, breaking ground in new markets, and delivering transformational solutions to high-profile clients worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee complex and strategic GIS programs with multiple engagements and stakeholder teams.
- Work with senior-level stakeholders from both Esri and the client side to align program goals and benefits with organizational strategy.
- Monitor engagement outputs and collaborate with stakeholders to manage changes ensuring benefits delivery.
- Serve as a point of contact for program escalation.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to discuss program status, balance diverse interests, and address complex issues.
- Produce accurate and timely program status reports.
- Analyze program risks and manage risk mitigation plans.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of professional experience in a similar role.
- Experience in program management in fields such as strategic consulting and technology adoption.
- Ability to engage with executive level leadership.
- Extensive project management experience.
- Proven ability in leading large-scale proposals and delivering presentations to various stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with problem-solving skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geography, Computer Science, or related field.
Recommended Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a similar field in North America or Europe.
- Familiarity with ArcGIS, location-based services, and spatial analysis.
- Knowledge of software engineering and application development principles.
- Understanding of IT concepts and current technology implementation patterns.
- Program Management Professional (PgMP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
- Master’s degree in a relevant field.
Language Requirements:
Proficiency in English is required.
