This role supports National Government clients, and you will be part of a dynamic cross-functional team of passionate Consultants and Project Managers. Your contributions will deliver solutions that enhance data quality, reliability, and accessibility to geospatial capabilities. As part of the Professional Services division, your aim will be to deliver transformational solutions to high-profile clients worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee complex and strategic GIS programs involving multiple components and stakeholder teams.
- Collaborate with senior-level stakeholders to align program goals with organizational strategy.
- Monitor outputs and collaborate with stakeholders to implement changes ensuring program benefits.
- Serve as a point of contact for escalation and coordinate with stakeholders on program status.
- Produce accurate, timely status reports throughout the program life cycle.
- Analyze program risks and manage risk mitigation plans.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of professional experience in a similar role.
- Experience in program management and understanding IT implementation patterns.
- Ability to engage with executive leadership.
- Extensive project management experience and proven abilities in leading large-scale proposals.
- Outstanding presentation skills for internal and external audiences.
- Self-motivated with a proactive problem-solving approach.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geography, Computer Science, or a related field.
Recommended Qualifications:
- Prior experience in North America or Europe.
- Familiarity with ArcGIS, location-based services, and spatial analysis.
- Experience in GIS Project Management.
- Knowledge of software engineering and application development principles.
- Basic understanding of IT concepts.
- PgMP or PMP certification is a plus.
- Master’s degree in a related field.
