Position

About the Role
The ECU MFG HW/SW Engineer provides dedicated ownership of software release management across engineering builds, manufacturing, sustaining, and operations teams for in-house Low Voltage ECUs. As program volume, ECU content, software complexity, production deployment, and sustaining activities continue to increase, a centralized resource is required to manage release timing, content readiness, validation status, traceability, field/manufacturing issue follow-up, and resolution across concurrent programs. This role supports both new program launches and sustaining operations by maintaining released software packages, coordinating updates for production and service needs, ensuring software and flashing information remain accurate, and driving closure of issues that impact internal sites, contract manufacturers, and ongoing production. This role will improve execution discipline by ensuring software releases and sustaining updates are planned, tracked, validated, documented, and communicated through each phase from engineering development to production rollout and post-launch support.
