SR HSE MANAGER

About the Role
This position focuses on developing and overseeing the management of all operational HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) audits and training activities within the organization. The successful candidate will coordinate with various departments to set HSE targets and objectives, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and ISO standards. They will also be responsible for managing budgets related to HSE operations and training, conducting audits, and leading safety initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the management of all operational, HSE audits, and training activities.
• Review and endorse all HSE inputs on tender documents for all projects.
• Establish and implement short and long-term HSE goals and objectives for operational training and audits.
• Coordinate with departments to set the company's HSE targets and objectives.
• Review and update HSEMS/EMS manuals to ensure compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and local & international HSE legislations.
• Prepare a budget for HSE Operations and HSE training & audits and monitor expenditures to remain within the allocated budget.
• Ensure that Corporate HSEMS/ISM/EMS (ISO 14001) and ISO 45001 audits are conducted.
• Ensure regular audits and inspections of subcontractors' personnel, sites, and activities.
• Lead the conduction of Behavioral Safety Audits (BSA) and high-profile tours as per HSEMS guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental Science or equivalent.
• Diploma in Safety Management (DipSM) and/or NEBOSH/IOSH diploma or equivalent.
• NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA / OSHAD or equivalent certifications.
