The Senior IT Systems Analyst serves as a liaison among stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, and information systems.

The Analyst is expected to manage internal IT projects and play a significant role in major IT-related projects, ensuring adherence to standards for Project Management, Change Management, documentation, training, and project quality. This includes maintaining budgets and meeting deadlines.
Utilizing standard software operations/development methodology, the Senior IT Systems Analyst reviews and approves system specifications, programming, and technical analysis for their team. The Analyst takes responsibility for the team’s project work schedule, translating business requirements into clearly defined project outlines and plans, while participating in functional and technical support activities as necessary.
Coordination with subordinates is essential for special projects and other functional/technical support activities, ensuring compliance with occupational health, quality, safety, and environment procedures. Customer Satisfaction is a key aspect of this role, alongside a focus on timeliness and analytical approaches to addressing system and application problems.
Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and monitor implementation of IT policies, procedures, and methodologies.
- Supervise or consult with users to identify and document business requirements and problems to automate or improve existing systems/processes.
- Convert business requirements and project specifications into process diagrams to illustrate sequences and clarify anticipated outputs with End-Users.
- Configure and maintain systems/software to ensure they meet end-user needs.
- Supervise programming activities to ensure they are conducted according to methodologies and procedures.
- Oversee team unit testing and regression testing to eliminate errors/bugs and ensure conformance with Business Requirements and specifications; coordinate with Business for User Acceptance Sign Offs.
- Participate in the selection process of new software packages, third-party products, and applications; conduct technical evaluations and recommend suitable systems to end-users.
- Investigate and identify root causes of problems and system malfunctions; participate in formulating remedial solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Stay abreast of new developments in the field by reading publications and application-specific magazines; propose new solutions/programs to meet staff and user requirements.
- Perform related duties as assigned by the Head of Section to enable the achievement of Section targets and programs.
- Research technical and functional solutions, products, and alternatives; recommend suitable solutions.
- Supervise and ensure optimal support for operational issues.
- Strive for continual improvement of information systems.
- Participate in on-the-job training for trainees and newly hired personnel within the Group to ensure they develop the skills necessary for independent task execution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, management information systems, or a relevant discipline.
- 5-8 years of direct and relevant experience.
- Experience with various SAP modules, preferably SAP S4/HANA.
