As a Senior Manager leading the Growth Data Science unit, you will play a crucial role in driving growth strategies across various areas, including marketing optimization, churn reduction, subscription models, and ads revenue optimization. Collaboration with product teams, senior marketing, and partner growth leadership will be essential in this role.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the strategic vision for utilizing data to enhance logistics operations, emphasizing process optimization and service quality.
- Promoting a data-driven culture within logistics to support informed decision-making.
- Building collaborations with key stakeholders in product, business, and engineering teams to align data science projects with overall business strategies.
- Mentoring and developing a skilled team of data scientists and analysts, fostering a supportive work environment.
- Spearheading innovative data science projects that significantly impact logistics efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Overseeing the maintenance of a robust data infrastructure that supports analytics and data science activities.
- Generating analytical reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators and provide strategic insights.
- Communicating data-driven insights to internal and external stakeholders clearly and accurately.
- Staying updated on trends in data science, logistics, and technology to enhance Talabat’s strategies.
- Designing and managing experimental frameworks, such as A/B testing, for performance validation and improvement.
- Providing analytical support for KPI development and goal-setting aligned with strategic objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Technology, or related fields (advanced degree preferred).
- A minimum of 8+ years of experience in data science, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven ability to manage high-performing teams and execute strategic plans.
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills.
