The Senior Manager – Operational Excellence will lead the design and implementation of standardized, scalable operating models across ecommerce and omnichannel operations. The role will focus on improving process efficiency, standardization, operational control, execution discipline, and future-readiness across the business. This position directly reflects the approved Business Excellence scope covering Process Standardization, Operational Excellence, demand forecasting, and stock correction.

ROLE PROFILE
- Lead end-to-end operational excellence initiatives across ecommerce fulfilment, store-linked operations, dark store/DC interfaces, and omnichannel execution.
- Define, redesign, and standardize core operating processes to improve efficiency, consistency, governance, and execution quality.
- Own the design and rollout of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and operating frameworks by format/function, as explicitly identified in the approved proposal.
- Lead process diagnostics, root-cause analysis, process mapping, and redesign initiatives across critical operational pain points.
- Drive improvement in demand forecasting processes for stores and DC operations, in line with the approved Operational Excellence workstream.
- Lead stock correction process redesign, including automation opportunities such as Retail Insight autocorrection automation, as referenced in the proposal.
- Establish prioritization roadmaps for process improvements and ensure sequencing follows the approved principle: eliminate first, then automate, then optimize.
- Build governance mechanisms to monitor operational compliance, SOP adherence, and implementation progress.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
- 8–12+ years of experience in operational excellence, process improvement, continuous improvement, transformation, or retail/ecommerce operations.
- Strong background in SOP design, process optimization, lean/problem-solving techniques, and operational transformation.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional change initiatives in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Experience in grocery retail, omnichannel operations, ecommerce fulfilment, or supply chain environments is preferred.
- Strong analytical, PMO, and structured problem-solving skills. Experience leading teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
