Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and industry partners to gather insights and secure buy-in for strategic initiatives.
- Technical Ownership: Drive technical outcomes and manage system performance, utilizing metrics for improvement.
- Strategic Planning and Execution: Translate business goals into actionable project plans and oversee resource allocation for successful project execution.
- Autonomous Execution: Handle broad requirements from clients independently while demonstrating ownership of work.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Facilitate collaboration among multiple teams to advance projects.
- Growth Opportunities: Support drafting of technical proposals and align potential projects with organizational capabilities.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years in a customer-facing technical program management role, preferably in defense, national security, or aerospace.
- Proven experience in leading technical teams to deliver hardware or software products.
- Solid technical aptitude to understand designs, development processes, challenges, and risks.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data for decision-making.
- Experience with tools like JIRA and Confluence.
Salary Range:
- US: $166,000—$250,000
- UK: $109,000—$163,000
