The role demands a solid understanding of mission requirements and involves collaboration with various teams and external stakeholders. Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, gathering insights and ensuring alignment with strategic initiatives. Serve as the primary technical liaison for clients.
- Technical Ownership: Drive technical outcomes through understanding system performance, managing incidents, and using metrics for insights.
- Strategic Planning and Execution: Translate strategic goals into actionable project plans with clear milestones and necessary resource allocation.
- Execute Autonomously: Handle broad and ambiguous requirements; demonstrate high ownership of work.
- Enable Cross Team Collaboration: Manage and accelerate cross-team projects, collaborating with hardware, product, and test operations.
- Shape Growth Opportunities: Support drafting of technical proposals and ensure accurate scoping of projects.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in technical program management or systems engineering, preferably in defense or aerospace.
- Proven experience leading technical teams to field hardware or software products.
- Strong technical aptitude; ability to work closely with engineering teams.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.
- Experience with tools like JIRA and Confluence.
Language Requirements:
- Proficiency in English is mandatory.
Salary Range:
Estimated range of $166,000—$250,000 USD, depending on experience and other factors.
