Sr. Merchandiser

About the Role
As part of the sales team, the primary role of this position is to maximize our on-shelf presence in all outlets served by the merchandiser. The merchandiser is also responsible for conducting in-store sampling sessions and promotions as required. Compliance with planograms is essential for both on and off-shelf displays, and any non-compliance must be reported to the pre-seller immediately. In addition, the merchandiser will supply the pre-seller with the latest market information to capitalize on selling opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Call on specific OT outlets according to the daily journey plan provided by your supervisor.
• Merchandize SSFL products within your OT stores at various access points, including shelf, stand, and floor display.
• Place POS material wherever applicable next to our SSFL displays.
• Ensure all access points are merchandized as per approved planograms.
• Rotate products using the FIFO method and remove sub-standard products.
• Maintain clean and fresh stock of SSF products on the shelf at all times.
• Monitor and report competitive activities.
• Report any deviations from agreed terms with your assigned OT customer/outlet.
• Report daily activities of the prior day to your supervisor.
• Participate in sampling/redemption campaigns when required.
• Maintain appropriate personal appearance and professional behavior in line with the company’s code of conduct.

Qualifications
Experience / Competencies Required

• Valid driving license.
• Service-level oriented.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
