The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate:
- Deep technical skill in software architecture and cloud computing
- Customer-facing skills ideally gained within a partner organization
- Ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
As a key member of the AWS Partner Management team, you will act as a trusted advisor to our managed systems integrators. This includes:
- Providing the architectural guidance and recommendations necessary to promote successful partner engagements worldwide, for example, for summits, workshops, product launches, and other external events
- Championing AWS partners
- Assisting solution providers with the definition of technical strategies that will enable them to sell more of their offerings on the AWS platform
- Capturing and sharing best-practice knowledge with our broader Solution Architect community
- Educating the AWS services and solutions to the wide partner community
- Helping co-build the next generation offerings with partners to help solve customers' problems
Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience
- Knowledge of SAP systems (like SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, etc.) and their architecture and infrastructure needs
- Experience working with end user or developer communities
