The Sr. Program Manager role will craft the strategy and execution plans for large scale projects for Africa, Middle East and Turkiye (AMET) within the Amazon Logistics Network. We seek a highly skilled and motivated leader to develop innovative solutions for delivering products to our customers. The candidate must have an extensive background in developing strategies, program management, operations, and cross-functional leadership for large-scale strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Influencing without authority: Identify opportunities and influence stakeholders across functions to gain support.
  • Building and developing strong relationships with cross-functional teams: Use a data-driven approach to earn trust and influence different teams and leaders.
  • Strong communication: Communicate expectations and requirements effectively with business and technology teams at all levels.
  • Problem solving: Structure ambiguous situations and use data analysis to find and drive solutions.
  • Delivering results: Successfully deliver end-to-end complex technology and operations projects under tight timelines.
  • Strategic thinking: Evaluate information critically and make sound judgments with a future-oriented approach.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of business strategy or non-tech program management experience.
  • 7+ years of program or project management experience.
  • Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance, or a related technical or quantitative field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience driving process improvements.
  • Master's degree or MBA in management, business administration, economics, engineering, or marketing.
  • PMP certificate.
