The Role:
The company has an immediate need for a Sr. Project Manager in the Professional Services Project Management Office for the Middle East (MENA) region. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering cutting-edge technology projects to market-leading companies. This role offers significant influence and visibility with clients.
Your Impact:
- Strategically monitor and manage projects.
- Deliver software implementation projects on budget and on schedule with high customer satisfaction.
- Execute all project management phases from initiation through delivery to closeout.
- Provide functional supervision of contractors, consultants, and engineers assigned to the projects.
- Ensure compliance with all reporting, project administration, and documentation requirements.
- Develop and maintain client relationships.
- Ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction through world-class delivery practices.
- Collaborate with teams in R&D, Support, Product Management, Sales, and other organizations.
- Implement changes and utilize leadership and best practices to bring projects back on track.
What You'll Need:
- Minimum of three (3) years of project management leadership experience with IT initiatives and a minimum of ten (10) years of project management experience.
- Experience in the process industry (preferably oil & gas, petrochemicals, or related fields).
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects impacting different business functions and locations.
- Experience with international customers, primarily in the Middle East region (ideally also Eastern Europe and India).
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate business requirements into project deliverables and tasks.
- Strong communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to articulate status and issues clearly.
- Experience in creating detailed project plans, meaningful presentations, and accurate financial reports.
- Capability to adopt and tune communication to accommodate different levels of stakeholders.
- Strong team building and management skills to unite diverse groups for delivering required business results.
- Leadership through influence rather than formal authority.
- Technical understanding to enable effective delivery of technology projects, including new systems implementations.
- Proficiency in project management key areas including scope, time, cost, quality, risk, and procurement.
- A strong customer focus to ensure satisfaction and establish long-term relationships.
- Problem-solving capability to identify key issues, evaluate alternative solutions, and implement improvements.
- Willingness to travel at least 25% of the time, including international travel.
- Industry-recognized Project Management certification is desirable.
- Experience with both waterfall and agile project management methodologies is desirable.
