The successful candidate will engage with account managers and the technical community to provide consultative sales support, focusing on the company's Manufacturing and Supply Chain solutions within the Advanced Process Control domain. The consultant will leverage their upstream refining and petrochemical industry experience to develop strong client relationships and contribute to revenue growth in the Energy and Chemicals vertical.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support account team in developing strategies based on industry and client business environment.
- Refine solution and vision messages for projects and work with team members to develop presentation materials.
- Articulate overall solutions that meet customer business and technology needs.
- Conduct customer-facing support, including delivering presentations and software demonstrations.
- Develop and communicate business solutions, proposals, and responses to RFI/RFQ/RFPs.
- Proactively support pipeline development and sales execution for assigned accounts.
- Collaborate with sales account managers on strategic and tactical planning activities.
- Personal accountability for achieving targets in productivity, bookings, and other consulting goals.
What You'll Need:
- University Degree in Chemical Engineering.
- 12-15 years of practical experience in consulting/implementation/technology, with more than 7 years in APC/RTO/GDOT.
- Strong knowledge of Upstream, Refining, Petrochemical, and Chemicals production and business processes.
- Familiarity with the company's tools and solutions is a plus (e.g., Aspen DMCplus/DMC3, Aspen IQ).
- Willingness to travel throughout the Middle East & Africa (approximately 40-50%).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a quick learning aptitude and strong interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
