The responsibility of the Senior Principal Solution Consultant includes delivering high-quality solutions and business outcomes based on existing the company's APM offerings. This position requires leading the consultative discovery process with customers, crafting a vision and roadmap that addresses their requirements, and influencing key stakeholders. The role is heavily customer-facing and involves direct engagement in activities such as leading value discovery sessions, assessing client needs, and proposing effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Position industry-specific solutions for customers and engage in leading discovery sessions.
- Analyze prospective clients’ critical business issues to present the company's software capabilities effectively.
- Define solution roadmaps, implementation strategies, and value realization plans.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, justifying investment in the company's solutions.
- Develop proposals and scope of work documents for consulting engagements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to position the company as a leader in APM.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify business opportunities.
What You'll Need:
- Proven experience in maintenance and reliability within process industries (e.g., petrochemical, specialty chemicals).
- Previous consulting or pre-sales experience, ideally in related sectors.
- Familiarity with maintenance and reliability products, such as CMMS and APM applications.
- Knowledge of digital technologies (e.g., Cloud, Data Management, ML/AI) and their application in respective industries.
- Strong understanding of process industry economics and the ability to engage with potential clients.
- A balance of business and technical acumen to articulate solutions effectively.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in consulting, technology solutions, or process industries.
- Relevant technical qualifications (e.g., BSc in Engineering or equivalent).
- Arabic-speaking skills would be advantageous.
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time for business purposes.
