Position

The Sr. Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the overall execution of Power Conversion projects for the company Phase-II Bulk Program. This role includes management of a consortium-type organization structure, EPC interfaces, and ensuring adherence to the program execution strategy (PES) to maintain standard work across the program’s portfolios. The successful candidate will oversee the project from contract signature to securing project FACs, while also fulfilling the company's contractual obligations.

What you'll do:
As the successful candidate, you will take ownership and accountability for the assigned projects, fostering effective communication with customers, cross-functional teams, EPCs, and Customer Consultants. Your responsibilities encompass:

  • Being the primary point of contact for the customer on assigned projects and demonstrating a strong customer-centric approach.
  • Leading the consortium of Power Conversion suppliers and partners while managing external stakeholders (customers, EPCs, engineering consultants).
  • Being accountable for SQDC metrics and prioritizing the company's way.
  • Promoting a STOP WORK culture and adhering to EHS life-saving rules.
  • Leading quality processes and applying lean practices in project organization to mitigate Non-Conformity records (NCR).
  • Ensuring timely delivery of the company's supply scope and engineering studies.
  • Managing Project Profit & Loss (P&L), margin improvement, cash collection, and bonds management.
  • Maintaining full knowledge of contract and technical documents related to the project, ensuring cross-functional teams are also informed of the company's obligations.
  • Developing and continuously maintaining risk and opportunity registers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Demonstrating working knowledge of equipment such as synchronous condensers, circuit breakers, and transformers, including performance guarantees.
  • Supporting development of project schedules, vetting regular schedule updates, and strategizing for critical path analysis, including concurrent delay claims.
  • Having a working knowledge of logistics incoterms, including DDP scope and risks.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in the energy industry, specifically in Project Management.
  • Extensive experience managing large complex projects as a Sr. PM; experience leading Consortium/Turnkey projects is a plus.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English (both verbal and written).
  • Willingness to relocate across different project locations within the program.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software, such as Primavera P6.

Eligibility Requirement:

  • Legal right to work in KSA without company sponsorship or time restrictions.
