About the Role
As a Senior Quality Engineer for Electronics & Vision Systems, you will lead all quality engineering activities for these systems at AMP2 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). You will operate in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment, collaborating closely with a highly motivated, cross-functional team on complex and high-impact vehicle programs. You Will
- Ensure compliance of quality deliverables at each project milestone during the launch phase in alignment with corporate standards
- Drive quality test execution and validation follow-up in partnership with Product Engineering
- Review, validate, and support APQP/PPAP activities with Supplier Quality and Product Engineering
- Ensure part maturity and readiness to secure stable and efficient production lines
- Monitor responsiveness with Incoming Quality and suppliers on non-conforming or defective parts
- Define Incoming Quality Inspection requirements and support training of internal teams and third-party resources
- Collect, track, and resolve Incoming Quality Inspection findings during launch to protect production continuity
- Proactively identify supplier risks and lead mitigation actions in collaboration with Supplier Quality Development
- Drive problem-solving activities with the Launch team; validate implementation and effectiveness through Gemba and ensure long-term sustainability
- Lead containment and root-cause resolution for internal quality issues identified through Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) and Customer Product Audit findings
- Improve customer experience by leading 0MiS, 3MiS, 6MiS, and similar quality assessments, including containment and corrective actions, in coordination with Field Quality, Supplier Quality, Product Engineering, and Manufacturing
- Ensure readiness and approvals for New Parts Introduction (NPI), including trials, parts change management, and PPAP approvals
- Monitor and track Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) within PLM or equivalent systems
You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, Total Quality Management, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience in quality or manufacturing engineering
- 5+ years of experience in a greenfield OEM environment (required)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar senior or system-level quality engineering role (required)
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Proven ability to influence, motivate, and gain alignment across cross-functional teams and senior leadership
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, highly technical environment
- Strong analytical, data-driven problem-solving, and visualization skills
- Experience leading complex technical and quality issues across multiple organizational levels
- Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics, with in-depth knowledge of electronics and vision system manufacturing processes, standards, and specifications
- Demonstrated team leadership capability and cross-functional collaboration experience
- Strong proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; MS Project preferred)
- Creative, hands-on, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and highly organized mindset
