Sr. RF Engineer

As a Sr. RF Engineer at EDGE, you will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and testing RF subsystems and components, ensuring compliance with performance specifications and system requirements. Your role involves performing RF simulations and modeling to analyze system performance and optimize designs, and participating in system integration and testing efforts, providing support for both lab tests and field trials. You will also conduct system-level testing and troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve performance issues, while providing clear documentation of hardware architecture, design decisions, and test results.

Core Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, optimize, and test RF subsystems.
• Ensure designs meet reliability, environmental, and cost requirements.
• Perform RF simulations and modeling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including system engineers and software teams.
• Document testing processes and maintain up-to-date hardware design documentation.

Supporting Accountabilities:

• Identify technical risks during development and propose mitigation strategies.
• Stay updated on the latest RF and radar technologies.
• Train less experienced team members.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in RF engineering with a strong focus on radar or EW applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or a related field; a Master's or Ph.D. is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of RF principles, radar theory, and radar physics.
• Proficiency with simulation tools such as CST, AWR, or ANSYS HFSS and RF testing equipment.
• Proven experience in the design, development, and testing of RF subsystems and radar systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
