About the Role
The Sr RTR Specialist is responsible for providing support to hotels within the Finance Shared Service Centre (SSC). This includes month-end closing activities, financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliation, tax reporting preparation, and daily cash journal management. The role reports to the Record to Report Supervisor.

Responsibilities
As a Sr RTR Specialist, your main duties will include:
- Taking charge of specific month-end activity processes
- Maintaining the Fixed Cost Register to ensure it accurately reflects all contracts
- Conducting monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Preparing VAT reconciliations and VAT returns
- Reviewing hotels' P&L statements and preparing necessary adjustments
- Preparing monthly financial reports for hotels
- Managing the Daily Cash journal
- Assisting in the preparation of documentation needed for internal/external audits
- Performing additional tasks as required by business operations
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A proactive attitude and a readiness to learn and challenge existing processes
- The ability to thrive under pressure while managing multiple concurrent demands
- Strong analytical skills to efficiently and accurately manage large amounts of data
- A collaborative mindset for working effectively with others in-person and remotely
- The ability to learn essential job functions accurately and safely with minimal supervision
- Strong accounting knowledge
- Proficiency in Excel
- Interest in financial and DMS systems, with knowledge of Navision and preferably Docuware being advantageous
- A minimum education level of high school diploma
- At least 2 years of experience as a General Accountant
- Hospitality finance experience is preferred
