Additional responsibilities entail:
- Implementing and maintaining automation for operational tasks
- Supporting integration with external systems and APIs
- Developing and maintaining operational procedures and documentation
- Participating in incident management and problem resolution
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams for service improvements
- Supporting capacity planning and platform scaling initiatives
- Managing backup and recovery operations
- Monitoring and optimizing platform performance
- Handling security compliance and updates
- Supporting CI/CD pipeline operations
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience with Telecom OSS/BSS and 3 years with cloud-native platforms
- Strong knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes
- Relevant certifications (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Cloud)
- Experience in a 24x7 operation environment
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills and team collaboration capabilities
- Ability to work in shifts if required
Technical Skills:
- Experience with Ericsson vEDA or similar telecom platforms
- Proficiency in container technologies and microservices
- Strong Linux administration skills
- Scripting abilities (shell script, Python)
- Knowledge of monitoring tools
- Familiarity with APIs (SOAP, REST)
- Understanding of telecommunications service activation processes, subscriber provisioning workflows, and BSS/OSS systems
- Knowledge of network protocols and architectures
- Understanding of cloud-native concepts and practices.
