Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution: Lead the planning, coordination, and implementation of complex projects and initiatives assigned by the Office of the President. Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations in collaboration with stakeholders. Ensure timely delivery of outcomes aligned with strategic objectives.
- Governance & Oversight: Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, including reporting structures and decision-making protocols. Monitor adherence to project management standards and support quality assurance and risk mitigation.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track performance against KPIs, deliverables, and milestones across all cluster-led initiatives. Prepare and present high-quality reports and executive presentations to senior leadership.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Act as a key interface between the cluster and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Support the preparation of briefing materials and strategic updates for the President and senior leadership.
- Continuous Improvement & Capacity Building: Contribute to the improvement of project management practices within the cluster and mentor junior PM staff.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Public Administration, Business, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 7–10 years of progressive experience in project management or strategic execution, preferably in a government or high-level executive setting.
- Certifications: PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent required. Agile or Lean Six Sigma certifications are a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of national strategies and public policy frameworks.
- Proven leadership abilities in managing cross-functional teams and complex stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, report writing, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Power BI).
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High integrity and ability to operate under pressure in a sensitive environment.
