At AWS Enterprise Support, we are looking for a Senior Technical Account Manager (TAM) to drive value and service for some of the largest enterprises globally. This role supports our customers’ innovative endeavors across diverse technology areas, including Compute, Storage, Database, Big Data, AI/ML, and Networking. As their advocate and 'voice of the customer,' you will be a technical leader representing AWS to large enterprises.
As a Senior TAM, you will develop and execute technical cloud strategies to promote the adoption and usage of AWS services. Your technical expertise and interpersonal skills will enable you to effectively engage with customers and facilitate discussions with senior leaders regarding operational excellence and risk management. You will provide advocacy and strategic technical guidance, help plan and build solutions incorporating best practices, and proactively ensure that customers' AWS environments remain operationally healthy. By establishing close relationships, you’ll gain insights into their business needs and technical challenges, helping them maximize their AWS value.

Key Responsibilities
- Build solutions, provide technical guidance, and advocate for customer needs
- Ensure AWS environments stay operationally healthy while reducing costs and complexity
- Develop trusting relationships with customers to understand their business requirements and technical hurdles
- Drive technical discussions concerning incidents, trade-offs, and risk management using your technical knowledge and customer focus
- Consult with diverse partners, ranging from developers to C-suite executives
- Collaborate with AWS Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services Consultants, and Sales Account Managers
- Proactively identify opportunities for customers to derive further value from AWS
- Provide detailed reviews of service disruptions and track monthly and quarterly metrics for pre-launch planning
- Resolve a variety of issues as different customers migrate their workloads to the cloud

Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in technical roles encompassing distributed systems, cloud architecture, software development, infrastructure/platform engineering, Data & Analytics, or AI/ML
- Experience in customer-facing technical roles such as technical account manager, solutions architect, consultant, or support engineer
- Familiarity with the operational parameters and troubleshooting of a mix of the following: compute, storage, networking, databases, AI/ML, containers, DevOps, big data and analytics, security
- Proven ability to steer technical discussions and communicate effectively with both engineering teams and executive stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge in distributed systems design and implementation
- Experience in large-scale automation and workflow management
- Professional experience with AWS services or other equivalent cloud platforms (Azure, GCP)
- Experience with AI/ML workloads including foundation models, inference infrastructure, agentic systems, and MLOps
- Familiarity with container orchestration (EKS, ECS, Kubernetes), serverless architectures, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK)
