We are seeking a Senior Technical Professional specializing in Electrical Engineering to take on responsibilities related to the study, design, and specification of electrical and electronic systems. This includes, but is not limited to, power generation, transmission and distribution, power systems performance and control, cabling, wiring, lighting, motor control centers, communications systems, cathodic protection, grounding, lightning protection, and heat tracing.

Under general supervision, you will engage in all conventional aspects of electrical engineering. Your role will involve devising new approaches to address problems encountered in the design and implementation of electrical systems. You will plan, schedule, and conduct work that requires independent judgment in evaluating, selecting, and adapting engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria.
Responsibilities
- Execute projects requiring conventional engineering practices that may have complex features, such as conflicting design requirements and coordination challenges.
- Provide technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers.
- Plan, budget, organize, coordinate, and control small projects or segments of larger projects, ensuring proper execution and meeting quality standards.
- Conduct employee performance appraisals and mentor lower-level professionals to support their development.
- Directly impact cost containment, efficiency, profitability, or operational effectiveness through the successful execution of job tasks.
Requirements
- An undergraduate degree in Engineering is required.
- A minimum of 4 years of related experience, with average experience typically ranging from 6-10 years.
- Sufficient professional experience to ensure competence as a fully trained professional in electrical engineering is essential.
- Broad knowledge of precedents and the ability to apply this knowledge effectively in your work.
- Certification as a Licensed or Chartered Professional Engineer is preferred.
