Sr Technician - Mechanical Department

About the Job: The Sr Technician in the Mechanical Department will play a crucial role in the maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial gas turbines and auxiliary equipment. This position demands a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence, ensuring all maintenance activities align with established plant protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance Leadership & Execution: Take the lead in executing maintenance activities for industrial gas turbines and auxiliary equipment, ensuring all work aligns with plant safety and operational standards.
• Gas Turbine Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine and corrective maintenance on gas turbines, leveraging strong troubleshooting skills to address and resolve operational issues efficiently.
• Safety Clearance & Equipment Isolation: Obtain necessary safety clearances and permits to work (LC) for equipment under maintenance, ensuring proper isolation of systems as per plant protocols.
• Tool & Equipment Management: Maintain tools, tackles, and testing instruments in optimal working condition to support effective maintenance operations.
• Welding & Fabrication: Apply expertise in welding and fabrication for maintenance and repair tasks, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
