As a Staff AI Scientist on the global AI hub, your mission will be to enhance decision-making across product and business through relevant, reliable, and actionable data. You will manage a specific domain, collaborating closely with product and business managers within a talented team of data scientists and engineers. Your role will cover the entire data value chain, including logging, data modeling, analysis, reporting, and experimentation, with a focus on leveraging Generative AI for tasks like data enrichment and automated decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Transform ambiguous business challenges into data-driven opportunities.
- Solve complex business problems using appropriate algorithms to create business value.
- Design and implement impactful machine learning and generative AI systems in production.
- Develop a deep understanding of product experiences and business processes in your focus area.
- Document and interact with engineering teams to gain familiarity with source data.
- Contribute to the design and maintenance of performance measurement data models.
- Collaborate with product and business teams to identify key questions that data can answer.
- Deliver actionable insights and recommendations through analysis and automated reporting.
- Design, plan, and analyze experiments (A/B and multivariate tests).
- Support KPI design and goal setting for product and business managers.
- Mentor junior data scientists in their growth journeys.
Qualifications Requirements:

Technical Experience:
- Experience in machine learning, generative AI, deep learning, recommendation systems, and data mining.
- Proficient with ML and GenAI frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Excellent SQL skills and proficiency in reproducible data analysis using Python or R.
- Strong command over data lifecycle management, including analysis and interpretation.
- Familiarity with various types of analysis and experiment design workflows.
- Knowledge of product data and health measurement is a plus.
- Experience with LLMs and NLP-based solutions preferred.

Education:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, technology, or related field. A postgraduate degree is advantageous but not required.

Experience:
- 7+ years in data science, machine learning, and Gen AI; experience in online consumer products is a plus.
