As part of our exciting growth, we are looking for a Staff Infrastructure & Security Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of Mozn’s security infrastructure.

As a Staff Infrastructure & Security Engineer, you will report to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and collaborate closely with IT and Engineering teams to protect Mozn’s networks, servers, and cloud services from various threats. Your responsibilities will include overseeing security for cloud environments (GCP, OCI, AWS, Azure), managing networking (firewalls, VPNs), and leading security monitoring and incident response efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage the organization’s security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and cloud security controls.
  • Maintain security for Mozn’s cloud platforms and implement best practices for cloud security posture management and identity/access management.
  • Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents, coordinating containment and recovery efforts.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and manage vulnerability programs, working with system owners to remediate findings.
  • Develop and enforce security protocols, policies, and procedures to protect sensitive information, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and Engineering teams to integrate security into all projects and operations.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for cybersecurity, providing guidance and training to internal teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field; equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity engineering or infrastructure security roles.
  • Proven expertise in managing and securing cloud environments (GCP, AWS, OCI, Azure).
  • Strong knowledge of network and system security, including the configuration and management of security devices.
  • Excellent analytical skills for assessing complex systems and investigating incidents.
  • Proficient communication skills for documenting security architectures, policies, and interacting with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Cloud Security Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer).
  • Security Management Certifications (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional - CISSP).
  • Technical Security Certifications (e.g., Certified Cloud Security Professional - CCSP).
