Staff Product Designer - Breakout

As a Staff Product Designer at Breakout, a crypto-native prop trading platform, you will play a vital role in enhancing the trading experience for serious traders.

Responsibilities:

• Embed with a cross-functional team of product managers, engineers, and designers focused on the Breakout experience.
• Collaborate with the company's Pro and Trading teams to ensure consistency across trading surfaces while modernizing Breakout’s core product.
• Define scalable UX patterns for trading, accounts, KYC, and performance tracking.
• Lead the redesign and modernization of web and mobile experiences.
• Simplify complex financial and trading concepts into clear, fast, and legible interfaces.
• Drive product strategy, shaping what to build and how it looks.
• Establish design systems, standards, and best practices that scale across teams.
• Partner with Marketing for cohesive user journeys.
• Prototype and test quickly while balancing discovery and delivery.
• Mentor and elevate the craft of design within the team.

Key Qualifications:

• 7+ years of product design experience, including senior or staff level roles.
• Proven experience designing complex, data-heavy products (fintech, trading, SaaS, etc.).
• Strong product thinking with the ability to balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
• Experience leading large-scale redesigns or modernization initiatives end-to-end.
• A deep understanding of UX systems, interaction design, and information architecture.
• Ability to create fast, high-signal interfaces where speed and clarity matter.
• Comfortable working closely with engineers and understanding technical tradeoffs.
• Strong prototyping skills.
• Clear communicator and influencer of stakeholders.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience in trading or crypto, or familiarity with financial markets and trading workflows.
• Experience in startup or high-growth environments.
• Experience designing responsive or mobile-first trading experiences.

Location: United Arab Emirates (Remote)
