In this highly technical, fast-paced environment, design is crucial in transforming complex trading systems into clear, intuitive user experiences. You will lead the evolution and modernization of Breakout's end-to-end product experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define scalable UX patterns for trading, accounts, KYC, and performance tracking.
- Lead the redesign and modernization of Breakout’s core web and mobile experiences.
- Simplify complex trading concepts into clear and legible interfaces.
- Drive product strategy alongside Product and Engineering teams.
- Establish design systems, standards, and best practices.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing for seamless user journeys.
- Prototype and test ideas quickly, balancing discovery with delivery.
- Mentor and raise the craft bar through hands-on execution.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 7+ years of product design experience, especially at a senior or staff level.
- Proven experience with complex, data-heavy products (fintech, trading, SaaS).
- Strong product thinking, balancing user needs and business goals.
- Experience leading large-scale redesigns and modernization initiatives.
- Deep understanding of UX systems, interaction design, and information architecture.
- Strong prototyping skills and clear communication skills to influence stakeholders.
- A portfolio demonstrating ownership, craft, and measurable impact.
Nice to Haves:
- Trading or crypto experience.
- Familiarity with financial markets and trading workflows.
- Experience in startup or high-growth environments.
- Experience designing mobile-first products.
Work Conditions: Full-time, Remote
