As a Staff Product Designer - Growth (Onboarding), you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of the company in the crypto space. This staff-level individual contributor role involves ownership of complex and high-impact design challenges on the Onboarding team. You will focus on key first-touch experiences, including account creation, identity verification, and first product access. Your work will help users build trust with the company and quickly reach value.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design for critical onboarding and first-time user experiences.
- Define experience strategy for complex onboarding systems including identity verification and account setup.
- Shape and evolve the company’s design language to strengthen visual and interaction consistency.
- Drive exceptional end-to-end user experiences in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Use behavioral data and customer insight to improve activation and onboarding metrics.
- Mentor designers and raise the craft standards across the team.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in end-to-end product design with a strong portfolio of shipped mobile and web work.
- Staff-level product judgment and the ability to independently navigate large problem spaces.
- Knowledge of cryptocurrency and trading.
- Experience designing in regulated environments such as fintech or financial services; KYC experience preferred.
- Strong UX, interaction, and visual design skills, with a focus on solving complex problems.
- Advanced prototyping skills and a data-informed approach to design decisions.
- Strong communication skills to influence stakeholders and align cross-functional teams.
- High ownership and a proactive attitude in a fast-growing, remote-first organization.
Language Requirements: Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus, given the global team.
