As a Lead / Staff QA Engineer, you will set the quality strategy and testing architecture for a groundbreaking AI and data platform designed for organizations in regulated, mission-critical environments. Your responsibilities encompass the ownership of test architecture and release-quality standards across both managed SaaS and on-prem operating models. You will also mentor QA engineers across teams, driving a multi-quarter quality strategy that acts as a force multiplier for the organization.

Key Responsibilities
- Define test architecture and quality standards across the platform (test pyramid, automation strategy, release gates).
- Lead major decisions on test tooling, automation investment, and release-quality processes.
- Mentor senior QA engineers to elevate the quality bar across multiple teams.
- Drive cross-team initiatives aimed at reducing defect escape rates and improving release confidence.
- Partner with engineering and product leadership to formulate a quality strategy over multiple quarters.
- Own the release sign-off process, including for fully air-gapped / on-prem release candidates.
- Ensure quality practices scale effectively across managed SaaS and disconnected on-prem deployments.
What You’ll Bring
- 10+ years of QA, test engineering, or quality architecture experience with a history of architectural ownership.
- A minimum of 2 years focused on testing complex data-driven applications, ML models, or AI agents.
- Proven track record in designing test architecture and quality processes at scale.
- Expert proficiency in Python (Pytest) and standard libraries (Selenium/Playwright, Requests).
- A mentorship record demonstrating that engineers you have developed now operate independently at higher levels.
- Experience leading major quality initiatives from inception to completion.
- Comfort with architecting test strategies for systems that operate in both managed SaaS and on-premises, including disconnected air-gapped environments.
Nice to Have
- Experience in conference speaking, technical writing, or recognized thought leadership in the industry.
- Contributions to open-source test tooling.
- Proficiency in the Arabic language.
