Mozn is seeking a Staff Software Engineer - Backend. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing, managing various enterprise applications, and maintaining networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Predict and understand client requirements and translate them into application features.
  • Collaborate with a team of IT professionals to set specifications for new applications.
  • Design creative prototypes according to specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications.
  • Develop technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code.
  • Design, build, and manage distributed systems.
  • Maintain a list of conventions and standards for the team.
  • Build teams and enhance their capability in project or product work.
  • Mentor and coach junior software engineers on the team.
  • Plan and perform unit, integration, functional, and non-functional testing before launch.
  • Manage and apply CI/CD for applications.
  • Review code for software engineers on the team.
  • Create and manage systems and data architecture.
  • Build, support, and scale cloud and on-premise infrastructure, including monitoring, alerting, and debugging.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations during the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • 9-10 years of experience in software development, and strong knowledge of data structures/algorithms.
  • Strong communication skills and analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • Expertise in Python programming language and related frameworks.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of emerging market trends related to Enterprise Solutions.
  • Experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Proficiency in performance optimization techniques and scalability best practices.
  • Strong experience with designing, building, and managing distributed data systems, including SQL and NoSQL.
  • Strong technical documentation skills and knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices.
  • Extensive troubleshooting experience and knowledge of data privacy practices.
